  Unfortunately I had to send back the premium cut of steak that I had ordered because it was well done, not medium as requested. Which is such a great waste for everyone involved. When it did arrive though the steak was quite good. Great place to watch the foot traffic over Hastings Street. Service was good. A few more smiles would have been nice though.

  Perhaps one of the worst experiences for service I've experienced, the steak I ordered medium came out well done, when we came in the waitress couldn't care less and took us to the table with attitude then when we mentioned the steak was well done geez the guy at the counter couldn't care less and still wanted to be paid and only after we mentioned it again did he give us a $5 discount, "you should not have eaten it then" but no one came near us, so my wife then told him about the service and then just gave us attitude and even back chatted us as we left saying "how classy" when all we did was say we were not happy, but hey we are just blow in tourists so who cares if the come back! The place calls its self a steak house, then why not then serve steaks how they are meant to be cooked otherwise call yourself a bistro! And the owner should be concerned he has staff who could care less about their customers!
